I bought hearing protection from Srs Tactical because I was hoping it would be a real upgrade from my old cheap pair. I was a little nervous about getting fooled by the product claims, and unfortunately that’s kind of how it felt. It just didn’t cut the noise down much at all.
After a short range trip, my ears were still ringing and felt sore, which really disappointed me. The fit was okay, not terrible, but it didn’t feel protective enough. Maybe I got a bad one, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

They did fix the issue eventually, so I’ll give them that, but wow, it took way longer than it needed to. The whole process felt more complicated than it should’ve been.

"Just didn’t feel trustworthy to me"
The weird part is, I can’t point to one huge problem, but using the site just didn’t give me a good feeling. Some of the info felt a little unclear, and overall it didn’t seem super reliable to me. Maybe other people had a better experience, but I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable ordering from here again.

"Fit felt weird and uncomfortable"
I really wanted these to work because I’d been looking for something like this for a while, and I even tried them on right after bringing in the mail before I’d put my groceries away. Unfortunately, the fit was just off for me. It felt awkward quickly and started rubbing in a couple spots almost right away.
I don’t usually have a hard time figuring out my size, so I was kind of surprised by how uncomfortable it ended up being. I wish the sizing info had been a little more accurate or detailed, because based on what I ordered, I expected a much better fit

The return process was just frustrating. I thought it would be simple. Quick exchange, done. But no. It took way too long, and I kept waiting for updates. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely annoying.

"Started wearing out way too soon"
I bought this from Srs Tactical and at first it seemed fine, but it started showing wear a lot faster than I expected. For what it costs, I really thought it would hold up better. The more frustrating part is that when I had questions about it, it felt like nobody wanted to take ownership or really help resolve anything. It’s not the worst gear I’ve bought, but overall it was disappointing.

The product info was mostly right, but one item I ordered had specs that didn’t quite match what showed up. It wasn’t a huge deal, and maybe I’m just being picky, but it did make the ordering process a little confusing. Overall the site is fine, I just feel like the details could be checked a bit more carefully so you know exactly what you’re getting.

"Customization felt too limited"
I was hoping there’d be more ways to customize what I needed, but the options felt basic. A few of the dropdowns didn’t give me much to work with, and I couldn’t really tell if custom requests were even possible. What made it more frustrating was that there didn’t seem to be any real human contact to help figure it out, just clicking around and hoping the site had the answer. The site itself worked fine, but for tactical gear I expected more choices for setup, colors, or add-ons. Not awful, just not enough for what I was looking for.

"Tracking updates could be better"
I ordered from srstactical.com and, to be fair, the item did arrive and the product itself was fine. My main issue was just the lack of clear tracking updates along the way.
After the confirmation email, there really wasn’t much communication. I kept checking the tracking myself, and it stayed stuck for days, which made me wonder if the order had even shipped yet. I think most customers would probably feel the same way in that situation.
Customer service did respond, but it felt a bit slow and not very specific. Overall, the order worked out, but the shipping communication and tracking updates could definitely use some improvement.

I ordered because the site clearly showed the item was in stock, and then after placing the order I get told it’s unavailable. Like, why let people buy it if you don’t actually have it? Super frustrating and a waste of time.

I went in with a few basic questions about the gear, but the staff didn’t really seem to know the answers. They were polite enough, but I left feeling like I’d have to do my own research somewhere else. Personally, I wouldn’t rely on this place if you need solid advice before buying.
